Wine Tour just outside of Valpariso

Today we went on a wine tour in the Cajon del Maipo and Pirque. First, we went to an organic vineyard that was so interesting! Instead of using chemicals to control the bugs, they used alpacas to mow the grass, ducks and chickens to eat the weevils, and flowers to draw the bugs away from the fragrances of the grapes! The wine was lovely and I was just blown away about how beautiful it was!

    Love it - Apparently in Napa they use shiney tape to keep away the bird. Amazing how much you can do with out chemicals!!!

    Can't wait to hear more :)

    Come on, tell the truth. They steal the grapes from Argentina.
