Greymouth, South Island

So all that rain I was talking about, well, we drove through it to get to Greymouth. Thankfully, Mike is probably the best driver I know, and we got there safely. After some needed downtime after that drive, we headed into town. It’s an industrial port town with not too much going on except for the Monteith’s Brewing Company. We tried some beer, but the best part was that we met this NZ couple from Invercargill who were driving up from the Deep South to move to Auckland. Tom and Vicky were really fun, good people and we both enjoyed hanging out with new people. After the brewery, the four of us met up at a local bar and had a great night out.
