We have been quite busy planning our trip lately. Our first stop is going to be to the Peruvian Amazon. We are quite excited to make this our first stop, especially since Dad and Lewie are going to join us at the start of our adventure! I can't tell you how greatful I am that my brother and Dad were able to take leave from their jobs to join Mike and me at the kick off of the trip! I love it when a plan comes together. We will get to swim with pink dolphins, go on a zipline in the treetops, visit shamen and local families, and wow, have some amazing birding adventures. There are a ton of other things we will get to do here, but there is just too much to write! National Geographic and Outside Magazine put this trip in their "top something things you must do" lists, we it's gotta be good.
