Zion National Park, UT

Before going to Zion, we ran into this couple who had just been there. We asked them what they thought about it. He said, "it was the most amazing place I have ever been in my life." Someone says that about a place-- you've got to go there.

The best trail we hiked was a 5 mile hike called "The Narrows," which is pretty much 5 miles of walking through river of the clearest water in the deepest and narrowest canyon made of the most beautiful rock.

With the backdrop of a group of mountains called "The Watchmen" and a patch of black-eyed-susans the campsite gave us clear views of the Milky Way, shooting stars, and up-close looks at grey fox, mule deer and new birds!

We both wish that we could have spent at least a few more days to explore, but it is very easy to just feel that this is a very special place.
